5 BEHAVIORS TO ADOPT IN THE NEW YEAR

  1. Self-Discipline & Willpower: We all probably have new year resolutions, plans, projects and ambitions for the new year but what differentiates those who achieve the goal for the year from those who don’t is self-discipline. Many people aren’t disciplined enough to follow through on their new year resolutions, plans, etc. We should endeavor to train ourselves on self-discipline and stay focused on what we planned to do.
  2. Optimism: I’ll like to encourage us to be hopeful in all circumstances. Let’s not focus on the negative side of things this year.
  3. Kindness: We should also be kind to everyone we meet this year. Give freely, hold no grudges and live at peace with others.
  4. Goal Setting: It is important for us to set what we’ll like to accomplish this year. We shouldn’t just live a carefree life, we have to write out goals we’ll like to accomplish this year and work towards achieving them.
  5. Closeness to God: One very vital habit we need to develop is speaking to God frequently. We should develop our relationship with God and see how He’ll work wonders in our lives.
