How far must we travel in life before we arrive at our destination? Get there, as in attainment, accomplishments. Do we really need so much speed? What exactly is the rush for? If you get it, then what? How about we take things slow and steady?

Success is overrated these days. What’s the definition of success? Money, cars, houses, designer articles? I hope so.

Where do we place happiness? Most people don’t even know that there’s a difference between being rich, being wealthy, and being prosperous?

In the quest to make it, any way is a way. Cybercrime and sex trade are both prevalent among males and females in Nigeria. Popular Nigerian musician, Falz says “all this is happening because the system has allowed it”. They have become norms.

Like the popular stories of the tortoise and the hare, despite how fast the hare is or was, the tortoise always won because he had support, the hare eventually got tired and slept, and the tortoise was wise. But don’t be wiser than your years.

Live on your own terms

People will only post the good parts; no one will show their sorrows or weaknesses online. Don’t be jealous. Don’t copy. You don’t have to fake it to make it. Don’t use a Coke budget to live a Champagne life. You don’t work with another man’s time. Everyone has their own day. Take it slow and steady.

Don’t work with Society’s Clock

The saying delay is not denial is one I have struggled with for the longest possible time. Who decides what time is early and what time is late? Society’s clock is the reason why many of us rush. Picture a 10-year-old wanting to have the wealth of experience a 70-year-old has. That’s not possible. That’s rushing, forced time.

Take your time with life.

Hopefully, this sinks.
