MY THOUGHTS ON BODY SHAMING
In today’s beauty world, there are many thoughts on body shaming. While people celebrate new fashion trends, new styles, looks, skin tones and the like. Most seem not to notice what’s hidden underneath beautiful pictures, filters, nice camera shots, and beautiful backdrops.
Body shaming can be done by a person on themselves, on others in their presence, or in their absence.
I remember being mocked for the way I walk today, though. For a while, I avoided walking when people were behind me or walked very fast before I was able to conquer that.
Strangely, body shaming is not limited to women. Men are also body shamed. For their chest not being chiseled enough. For being bald. For not having beards. Body shaming is not gender-specific. Neither is it age-specific. You see many people transferring the hate they have to kids.

BODY SHAMING AND MENTAL HEALTH
One’s mental health is the first thing body shaming attacks. The words of negativity become ingrained into the consciousness of the sufferer. Identity is lost in the process. For some, body shaming has a drastic side effect on them such as taking their own life
Today, like I like to say, “there are many fake people today”, all running from their insecurities. Always altering a body part. I wonder that after all we are wonderfully and beautifully made in HIS image, so, where exactly are we going.
I feel if you listen to statements of imperfection from others and change a thing, you’d never be satisfied. Whatever you do, do because you love yourself not cause of what a person says.
Love yourself, be perfect for you, try out new things, look good, feel happy.
Live on your own terms.
For your peace.
Be you…
A drop of honey for your day….

Who doesn’t like to look stunning and attractive to both men and women? Although, it doesn’t hurt to look good; How about the side effects? Yes, the side effects of pursuing endless physical allusions are regarded as beauty. Like it or not what people consider to be beautiful changes with each passing day. Yesterday was fat, plump, full figure, monotone; today could be tall and short altogether, light and dark and then, who knows what tomorrow holds? So many alterations and people do not even know where they stand anymore. All of this has led to body shaming and the changes people undertake over time.
