I used to feel birthday celebrations are uncalled for like I saw the New Year. I thought it to be something abstract. Just thank God you are alive and then rest.

But no, birthdays are the perfect time of a person’s life. It’s the time to relieve experiences, take notes, learn from them, set new goals and achieve new things.

Why Do We Celebrate Birthdays?

Birthdays are the time to be grateful. Imagine the number of people born at the exact second, minute, hour, day, month and year as you. Imagine the number of people who have also died, not to be insensitive, but be grateful

During our birthdays, we should be filled with joy. Joy is the highlight of that day. You don’t only celebrate yourself but are celebrated by others.
